New HQi and Newsroom features enable better investor communication

New features were released recently with the roll out of version 4.1 of the IRM HQi Content Management System (CMS), which is the engine room of our clients’ websites and IRM Newsroom. And we rolled out an Online Help Centre!

We’ve added Subscriber Groups, Improved Newsroom email notifications, a Newsroom Announcement History feature, lots of minor improvements, and a full online help centre.

IRM implements Gmail for Business

The advent of the Cloud has freed us up from complex, self managed / hosted email solutions.

Here, we pay our respects to our old mail client: Outlook, and welcome with open arms Gmail for Business, which has removed the need for back-ups, lost folders, difficult archiving procedures and nominal mailbox sizes. (It’s also given our CEO the freedom to sleep better at night!)

Out with the O-ld, in with Dropbox for Business

Late in 2014, the old O:\ drive, which was considered our trusty old, in-house file server was laid to rest, in favour of Dropbox for Business. While we remember O:\ drive fondly, we’ve not looked back as Dropbox has provided speed, efficiency and reliability at roughly the same cost as the energy bill for our old friend.
