IRM developed a new design with added functionality for the website of Metminco (ASX:MNC), an exploration and mining company incorporated in Australia.

MNC is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. The company’s strong portfolio of exploration projects in Colombia, Peru and Chile is primarily focused on gold.

IRM is pleased to announce the latest webpage of Ferrum Crescent Limited, a European lead-zinc exploration company based out of Australia. More commonly known as FCR, the company is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

We’ve introduced Keywords for Newsroom so now you can set specific keywords and then tailor how announcements that use that keyword in their title will be released.

For example, you may wish to set a keyword named “Presentation”, and send any announcements that use the keyword to go directly to the presentations page of your website, a specific subscriber group and social media channels.

Release 4.3 of IRM HQi – for IRM website and Newsroom clients – was released in December 2015. It provides users of the HQi content management system the ability to request and track support requests through HQi.

IRM is pleased to announce that in HQi release 4.3 there are enhancements specifically for those IRM clients who are also clients of Boardroom.Media (formerly Boardroom Radio or BRR Media).

Users of IRM’s HQi content management system and IRM Newsroom can now access an online Product Catalogue of IRM products and services through HQi.

It’s all part of IRM trying to be more informative and more responsive to our clients when they are thinking about enhancements, changes and ideas that are not yet in the “definite” category (for which the Support Request function is better).

New features were released recently with the roll out of version 4.1 of the IRM HQi Content Management System (CMS), which is the engine room of our clients’ websites and IRM Newsroom. And we rolled out an Online Help Centre!

We’ve added Subscriber Groups, Improved Newsroom email notifications, a Newsroom Announcement History feature, lots of minor improvements, and a full online help centre.

We are proud to introduce the new IRM Help Centre which provides helpful guides and how to’s for the various features of the IRM HQi content management system. Here you can read about how to update content on website pages, and how to establish news distribution channels for IRM Newsroom, send emails to subscriber groups and the full set of other features.

The advent of the Cloud has freed us up from complex, self managed / hosted email solutions.

Here, we pay our respects to our old mail client: Outlook, and welcome with open arms Gmail for Business, which has removed the need for back-ups, lost folders, difficult archiving procedures and nominal mailbox sizes. (It’s also given our CEO the freedom to sleep better at night!)

In this piece, we examine how IRM moved its internal accounting system from MYOB to Xero with a minimum of fuss, and maximum upside. The move has delivered vast improvements to the business processes and efficiency, and has left IRM with an outstanding technology that will scale with the business.

Once upon a time we had to own, configure, run, update and back up expensive servers in a complex hosting environment.

As a Christmas present to itself and clients, in late 2014, IRM transformed its hosting environment: moving from the original complicated server setup, to a cloud based solution with Amazon Web Services. We are delighted with the result – here’s why…

Late in 2014, the old O:\ drive, which was considered our trusty old, in-house file server was laid to rest, in favour of Dropbox for Business. While we remember O:\ drive fondly, we’ve not looked back as Dropbox has provided speed, efficiency and reliability at roughly the same cost as the energy bill for our old friend.

IRM critically examined its business support software and infrastructure in 2014, and made the decision to move to cloud-based services for a range of needs.
