IRM Proactive deal

IRM, Australia's leading provider of investor websites and online communication tools, has joined Proactive, the digital investor engagement specialist with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, London, Sydney and Perth. The acquisition was completed on 7 July 2022.

IRM CEO Martin Spry and the entire IRM team will continue with the combined company, assisting in integrating the entities’ platforms and driving market share in Australia.

Proactive provides a unique tech-enabled platform providing companies globally with a comprehensive investor engagement solution across their business lifecycle. Its Media Pack product includes year-long coverage of a company, with unlimited investment articles, executive interviews and podcasts all included. In addition, companies will benefit from distribution across Proactive's proprietary platforms and newsletter mailings, as well as syndication to its established institutional portals, newswires and social channels.

Servicing clients Australia-wide, IRM has provided comprehensive online investor engagement services for over 20 years, and currently has over 200 clients. Its services include investor websites, IRM Newsroom, IRM Events and a range of related online investor tools, as well as graphic design and annual reports.

Australian clients of both companies will now benefit from a comprehensive one-stop investor relations suite and expanded offerings. The transaction also enhances IRM’s and Proactive’s respective relationships with strategic partners.

As part of the deal, IRM has secured a joint marketing agreement with Proactive Investors Australia, including:

  • Better websites that have IRM Newsroom integration with Proactive
  • Features for companies listed in AIM, London Stock Exchange's market for small and medium size growth companies, and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)
  • Enhancements to IRM Events using Proactive Events
  • Improved offerings for IPOs

Introductory offers are also on track for new clients of IRM and Proactive, as well as special offers for joint clients.
